Terms of Service
Using ZenFi means you agree to this
By signing up or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use it.
What ZenFi is right now
ZenFi is a personal finance app. Track spending, categorize transactions with AI, set budgets, see where your money actually goes. It's in early access, which means some parts are still being built. You'll probably hit rough edges. We're working through them.
Your account
Keep your credentials to yourself. Accounts are one per person — don't share access. If someone gets into your account because your password was compromised on another service, that's outside what we can fix.
What you can't do
Scraping the platform, reverse engineering the app, uploading data you don't have rights to, or using ZenFi to do anything illegal — all off the table. Same goes for intentional stress testing or probing for vulnerabilities without talking to us first.
ZenFi is not a financial advisor
Worth saying clearly: ZenFi is not a licensed financial advisor and doesn't give financial advice. The spending breakdowns, categorizations, and budget insights are based on your transaction data. They're tools for thinking, not recommendations from a professional.
If you're making a big financial decision — taking out a loan, changing your investment strategy, anything with real stakes — talk to an actual licensed advisor. ZenFi can show you the picture; it can't tell you what to do with it.
Who owns what
ZenFi owns the platform, the code, the product. You own your data. We don't claim any rights to your financial information, and when you delete your account, your data goes with it (see the Privacy Policy for timing).
No warranty, especially during beta
The service is provided as-is. During early access in particular, things can break, change, or disappear. We'll do our best to be reliable, but we can't guarantee the service is always accurate, available, or complete.
Liability
To the extent allowed by law, ZenFi's total liability is capped at what you paid us in the 12 months before any claim. For most early access users, that's zero. We're not on the hook for lost profits, indirect losses, or financial decisions you made using ZenFi's data.
Accounts we close
We can suspend or close accounts that break these terms. You can delete your own account from the settings page any time. Either way, data is handled per the Privacy Policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Nigeria.
When these terms change
We'll email you before significant changes take effect. Minor updates — wording, clarifications — won't get a separate notice. Continuing to use ZenFi after new terms take effect means you've accepted them.
